Gladed areas with Champagne Powder are Steamboat's particular claim to fame. There are two main sections of Steamboat Springs, the downtown area and the mountain area. Steamboat has over 100 bars and restaurants along with a great variety of shops, galleries and winter activities.

GETTING THERE & GETTING AROUND
Getting There: Steamboat is in northwest Colorado, 252 kms northwest of Denver, an easy 3 hour drive or 4 hour shuttlebus. Another gateway is Hayden - The Yampa Valley Regional Airport which is just 35 kms from the Steamboat Ski Area. Contact Value Tours for the best available airfares from Australia to the USA. Shuttle transfers or a rental car from either airport can easily be prebooked with your Value Tours package.
Getting Around: Getting around Steamboat is easy. Most accommodation is located in the Mountain Village. The city of Steamboat Springs offers regular bus transportation between the ski area, downtown and most hotel, condominium, restaurant, grocery and entertainment locations. The ski area & mountain village is located 5 kms southeast of downtown Steamboat Springs.
