MOUNT HUTT is located 24km from Methven and covers over 900 acres of skiable terrain. For the beginner there are smooth, well groomed gentle slopes of the learner’s area while elsewhere the runs develop into easily accessible intermediate or advanced terrain. The 6 seater express chairlift provides top to bottom up hill transport without having to traverse between lifts. There is 1 halfpipe and an expanded freestyle terrain park. Mount Hutt is extensively groomed each night, however much of the more advanced terrain is left untouched leaving long open untracked slopes. This mix of terrain preparation ensures suitable conditions for skiers and snowboarders of all abilities. Access to the mountain is by a relatively steep two-lane unsealed road.
