The Interislander service operates across the 92km wide stretch of sea separating the North and South Islands with frequent daily sailings between Wellington and Picton for foot and vehicle passengers. The crossing averages 3 hours on The Interislander ferry. Vessel facilities include a cafe, bar, children’s play area, timezone, movie theatre, generous deck and viewing areas. The option of upgrading to the Kaitaki Plus class is also available. This provides comfort and luxury in an elegant and exclusive lounge. Kaitaki Plus is restricted to over 18’s only.
