Itinerary
From Queenstown - The Milford Track is 53.5 kilometres and is in the heart of the spectacular Fiordland National Park. After coach transfers from Queenstown to Te Anau Downs you begin your journey
by crossing Lake Te Anau by boat to Glade House wharf.
This is the beginning of your Milford Track adventure. Your first day walking is a short one from the wharf to Clinton Hut, followed on day two with a walk on a gradual gradient to Mintaro Hut.
Day three is the big one, walking up and over the Mackinnon Pass to Dumpling Hut, providing spectacular views of Fiordland.
On the final day the track descends to Sandfly Point where you will board a boat to take you across to Milford Sound to meet your final coach transfer back to Queenstown (or Te Anau) for a well deserved hot shower.
